Skipper KL Rahul and Deepak Hooda had an unimpressive outing as they scored 8 and 17 runs respectively. Marcus Stoinis, whose form was in question prior to the IPL, scored just 12.
Another West Indies batter Nicholas Pooran scored a 21-ball 36 down the order while Ayush Badoni played the role of finisher well with a cameo of 7-ball 18. Guyanese all-rounder Romario Shepherd wasn't considered for the last game but could be a good impact substitute option given his form with the Windies team recently.
Among bowlers, Mark Wood will be in the spotlight after his 5/14 spell in the last game. Pacer Avesh Khan and spinner Ravi Bishnoi put in a good spell with two wickets each. Spin all-rounder K Gowtham came in as an impact sub and put in an economical spell of 0/23. Jaydev Unadkat was unimpressive as he proved costly with a spell of 0/39 (3 overs).
