A slow knock on a flat deck at the MA Chidambaram Stadium has angered the fans as they took apart Virat Kohli on social media.

RCB posted a total of 196 runs in their 20 overs, however, Virat Kohli's innings of 31 runs off 30 balls drew criticism from fans. On a pitch that favored batsmen, Kohli's cautious approach was seen as a missed opportunity to capitalize on the favorable conditions.

His innings concluded when he attempted to flick a delivery from Noor Ahmad over midwicket, only to find Rachin Ravindra in the deep. While Kohli's ability to anchor an innings is well-regarded, in high-scoring matches like this, a more aggressive approach is often expected from top-order batsmen.

Kohli was more of a second fiddle to Phil Salt at the start of the innings. After the Englishman's dismissal, Kohli tried to switch on to a higher gear, but after a few blows, fell at the deep.

The fans were unforgiving to the India star. The 'Chokli' was trending on social media as RCB faithful lamented Kohli's slow knock. There were fans who trolled the India stalwart vehemently and labeled him responsible for RCB's score, which fell just short of 200 runs.
