Ayush Mhatre has showcased his immense talent already in the IPL 2025, as the young Mumbaikar has emerged as a fresh breeze for the Chennai Super Kings.

After being roped in as a mid-season replacement, Mhatre has looked in immense touch in the first two matches. He started off with a brilliant 32 on his debut, and then has continued the batting prowess in the ongoing match against Sunrisers Hyderabad today (April 25).

And during his knock, A shot from Ayush Mhatre has caught the eye of the fans, where he clubbed the bowler Jaydev Unadkat on the back foot for a four. And the shot resembled a touch of Virat Kohli, more of what he did in an India-Pakistan match.

On a charged October evening at the Melbourne Cricket Ground during the T20 World Cup 2022, cricket witnessed a moment that would etch itself into the sport's folklore shot that defied logic, rewrote perception, and crystallised Virat Kohli's legend.
