Dalmiya condoles death of ICC president Percy Sonn

Kolkata, May, 27 (UNI) Former International Cricket Council (ICC) president Jagmohan Dalmiya today expressed shock at sudden demise of ICC president Percy Sonn in Cape Town, South Africa, following protracted illness.

''I knew Percy was unwell. But I thought, the true fighter that he was would come out of the physical crisis'', Mr Dalmiya said in a statement.

''It is a loss, not only to the world of cricket, but also to me since Percy was a dear friend and a worthy collegue.'' '' I pray to the Almighty to give courage to his family to bear the irreparable loss,'' Mr Dalmiya said.
