
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Friday announced the schedule of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023. After staging IPL across Mumbai, Pune and Ahmedabad in the last edition, the 16th season of the cash-rich league will revert to the home and away format.
Each of the 10 franchises will play 7 home games and 7 away games respectively in the league stage.A total of 70 league stage matches will be played across 12 venues over the course of 52 days.

Arun Jaitley Stadium which was formerly knows as Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium will host all the home matches of Delhi Capitals. The stadium can roughly have 40,000 fans at a time.
Delhi Capitals (DC) will kick of their campaign on April 1 against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in Lucknow and then clash against Gujarat Titans (GT) in their first home match on April 4. In their third match, the side will face Rajasthan Roysals (RR) on April 8 in Guwahati. Their second home match is against Mumbai Indians (MI) on April 11.
DC clash against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in Bengaluru on April 15. The two sides meet again on May 6 in Delhi. Delhi face Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Sunrisers. Hyderabad (SRH), Punjab Kings (PBKS) and CSK at home on April 20, April 29, May 13 and May 20.
DC travel to Hyderabad to face SRH on April 24, Ahmedabad to meet GT on May 2, Chennai to play against CSK on May 10 and to Dharamsala to play against PBKS to play in their last away game on May 20.
