New Delhi, May 19: Delhi Capitals will host Chennai Super Kings in match 67 of IPL 2023 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi in the first game of double-header Saturday (May 20).
David Warner’s DC will look to carry their winning momentum following victory over Punjab Kings, while Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led CSK will look to bounce back and stay alive in the playoff race after defeat to Kolkata Knight Riders.

As it stands, DC are in ninth position in the IPL 2023 points table, while CSK occupy the second spot and will look to consolidate their position in the table as the tournament reaches climax stage.
Chennai Super Kings will be a confident side following their reverse fixture result, overall record against Delhi Capitals as well as their dominant record during their visits to the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi.
In the 28 meetings between the two sides in IPL so far, CSK lead 18-10 against DC in the head-to-head battles so far. In the last 5 meetings, it’s once again advantage CSK, who have won three times against DC, including the reverse fixture.
In the reverse fixture earlier this month, CSK rode on MS Dhoni’s late onslaught to set a target of 168 before pacers Deepak Chahar and Matheesha Pathirana did the damage with the ball to seal a 27-run win over DC.
In New Delhi at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, DC and CSK have clashed 7 times so far. And it’s CSK that hold the edge, having won 5 times against DC in their own backyard. The Capitals have beaten CSK on their home turf only twice so far.
