Delhi Capitals (DC) will look to seal top spot when they host Gujarat Giants (GG) in the twentieth and final league stage match of Women's Premier League (WPL) 2024 on Wednesday (March 13) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
Meg Lanning-led Delhi Capitals are fresh from sealing their second successive playoff spot following a 1-run victory over Royal Challengers Bangalore, while GG led by Beth Mooney head into the match on the back of an 8-run victory over UP Warriorz.

After Jemimah Rodriguez's third successive fifty at home powered DC to 181/5 in their allotted 20 overs, Jess Jonassen bowled a crucial final over, restricting RCB to 180/7 in their allotted 20 overs as Richa Ghosh's fell inches short of levelling the score in the final ball.
GG, on the other hand, rode on Mooney's third fifty in a row since arriving in Delhi to set a target of 153, which UP Warriorz almost chased down following an unbeaten 88 off 60 ball by Deepti Sharma, but fell short in the end, resulting in UPW's knockout.
With an eye on a direct entry into the WPL final, DC will look to do the double when they face GG for the first time in their home venue, having previously met at the two venues in Mumbai in season 1 and Bengaluru earlier in season 2.
