Kolkata Knight Riders youngster Abhishek Raghuvanshi is playing his second match in the IPL 2024 and is batting for the first time in IPL in his career against Delhi Capitals on Wednesday (April 3).
Angkrish Raghuvanshi made his debut in the last match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru but didn't bat for the Knight Riders, as he was not required to bat. He came into bat against DC on Wednesday and is playing an excellent knock so far.

Born in Delhi on June 5, 2005, Angkrish Raghuvanshi has quickly emerged as a young cricketing talent to watch. Known for his aggressive batting style and capability as a left-arm orthodox bowler, Raghuvanshi is carving out a significant place for himself in the sport. Representing Mumbai in the domestic circuit, his all-around abilities have drawn attention from cricket enthusiasts and experts.
Marking his entry into domestic cricket, Raghuvanshi made his debut in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy in October, followed by his List A debut in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. His cricket journey, although in its early stages, boasts participation in 7 T20 matches and 5 List A games.

Angkrish Raghuvanshi came into bat for the Knight Riders at no. 3 against Delhi Capitals and decimated the bowlers. He scored his maiden IPL fifty in his debut batting innings and the half-century mark came in just 25 balls. The youngster already hit 4 fours and 3 sixes and is living up to his Blitzkrieg reputation. The batter got dismissed after scoring 54 runs off just 27 balls.
KKR signed the youngster at his base price of Rs 20 lakh in the IPL 2024 auction.
