Delhi Capitals (DC) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will lock horns in match 4 of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 at the Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam on Monday (March 24).
It’s kind of an awkward start for two Indian cricketers as they will be facing their former employers to open the new season with Rishabh Pant, the most expensive player in IPL history, returning to DC’s second home in Vizag as captain of LSG.
While Pant’s ex deputy Axar Patel leads Delhi Capitals this season on the permanent basis, a former Lucknow Super Giants skipper KL Rahul has found his new home in the Delhi-based side.
Apart from the change in personnel, the two sides will also clash for the first time at the Vizag venue, which Delhi Capitals will continue to use as their second home, carrying forward the tradition from last season.
