Delhi Capitals will be playing their final group stage match of IPL 2024 as they host Lucknow Super Giants on Tuesday (May 14) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.

With 12 points in 13 matches and a negative NRR, the Capitals need a humongous win to qualify for the playoffs. On the other hand, the Super Giants are struggling with two heavy defeats and have 12 points in 12 matches. Hence they still have a valid chance of qualification if they win their final couple of encounters.

The Capitals lost their last match against RCB in Bengaluru on Sunday. LSG's previous encounter was the controversy-laden night against Sunrisers Hyderabad, and they will be hoping to bounce back from that.

LSG captain KL Rahul is expected to lead the team for the final two matches. In terms of the other players, Quinton de Kock is likely to be benched and Kyle Mayers may come in for the Super Giants. Arshad Khan can also be handed an opportunity in place of Yash Thakur.
