Delhi Capitals (DC) will look to avenge their reverse fixture loss and carry the winning momentum when they host Mumbai Indians (MI) in match 43 of IPL 2024 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Mumbai on Sunday (April 7).
Rishabh Pant’s DC head into the match on the back of a thrilling 4-run victory over Gujarat Titans in a high-scoring match, while Hardik Pandya-led MI suffered their fifth loss of the season following a 9-wicket defeat to Rajasthan Royals.

DC rode on captain Pant’s unbeaten 88 off 43 balls to set a total of 224 before Kuldeep Yadav’s spell of 2 for 29 proved the difference as Titans fell just short of the target in the run chase at the Delhi venue.
MI, on other hand, posted 179 after Tilak Varma and Nehal Wadhera shared a crucial stand, but the bowlers struggled to defend the total as Yashasvi Jaiswal’s unbeaten century took RR past the target with 10 balls to spare.
The five-time champions, however, will take confidence from the reverse fixture result against DC at the Wankhede Stadium earlier this season, when Romari Shepherd’s last-over onslaught was vital as MI defended a 200 plus score successfully.
DC will hope home venue brings them fortunes when they clash with MI for the 35th time in IPL history, and for the twelfth time at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Mumbai.-Here is a look at the record and stats ahead of DC vs MI IPL 2024 Match 43:
