DC vs MI: In an exciting finish to their batting at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Mumbai Indians pulled off four singles off the final delivery, ending their innings on a high with a total of 205/5 in 20 overs against Delhi Capitals in Match 29 of the IPL 2025 on Sunday, 13th April.
Facing the last ball of the innings, Naman Dhir was up against Mukesh Kumar, who bowled a full toss on the leg stump. Dhir swiped it powerfully through the backward square leg region.

While the deep fielder did well to dive and stop the boundary, a poor throw back to the keeper's end resulted in an overthrow. Seizing the opportunity, the batters showcased excellent awareness and athleticism, running a total of four runs - a rare sight in modern T20 cricket.
"All that effort near the boundary in vain," echoed the commentary, as the Delhi Capitals' hard work in the field was undone by a single lapse. Naman Dhir's clever placement and swift running ensured Mumbai Indians finished their innings with momentum firmly on their side.
The Mumbai innings was built around aggressive batting from their middle order, with Tilak Varma smashing a blistering 59 off 33 and Naman Dhir remaining unbeaten on 38 off just 17. Rickelton and Suryakumar Yadav also chipped in with fiery knocks, while Kuldeep Yadav was the standout bowler for Delhi, picking up 2 for 23 in his four overs.
Delhi Capitals now face a challenging task of chasing down 206, needing a strong response from their batting lineup. With the pressure of a big target and Mumbai's potent bowling attack, the Capitals will have to dig deep to stay in the contest.
