Delhi Capitals (DC) will face Punjab Kings (PBKS) in match 59 of IPL 2023 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. The second match of double-header Saturday (May 13) will be the first meeting between the two sides this season.
Bottom-placed Delhi Capitals head into the match on the back of a defeat to Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in their last match in Chennai, possibly ending their slim hopes of a playoff spot.

Eighth-placed Punjab Kings, on the other hand, are fresh from a defeat to Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in their last outing in a last-over thriller in Kolkata. The defeat dented their chances of finishing in the top four.
As the two teams clash against each other for the first time this season, here is a look at the top four bowlers who can take most wickets in the DC vs PBKS match at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi.
Kagiso Rabada (PBKS): PBKS spearhead has not been picked much this season after missing the first few games due to international duty, but benching him for too long will not be a good idea for the Punjab-based side especially when he returns to a venue where he clocked high speeds.
In IPL 2023, the South African quick has featured in only four matches so far, taking five wickets at an economy rate of 9.75. In 9 matches in New Delhi, Rabada has claimed 12 wickets at an economy rate of 8.84. So, if selected, the Protea is expected to strike vs DC.
Mitchell Marsh (DC): The Australian all-rounder has not been among the runs, but has contributed with the ball, picking up wickets and bowling tight spells. The highest wicket-taker for DC, Marsh has so far taken 12 wickets in innings of IPL 2023 at an economy rate of 7.77.
Kuldeep Yadav (DC): The left-arm chinaman bowler is the second highest wicket-taker for DC this season along with Axar Patel as both spinners have claimed 9 wickets each. Kuldeep has taken 9 wickets at an economy rate of 7.02. His wrist spin will be tricky for PBKS middle order.
Arshdeep Singh (PBKS): The PBKS pacer is the highest wicket-taker for the team this season with 16 wickets to his name in 11 matches at an economy rate of 9.79. He will be handful along with Rabada in the early stages of the game.
