DC vs RCB Dream11 prediction, IPL 2023: Fantasy Suggestions, Predicted Playing 11, impact substitute options

DC vs RCB Dream11 prediction: Delhi Capitals will host Royal Challengers Bangalore in match 50 of IPL 2023 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi on Saturday. The match is the second of the day's doubleheader and will start at 7:30 PM after the toss at 7 PM IST.

Placed bottom of the table with just six points in nine games, Delhi Capitals will play in a do-or-die game as a loss will end their playoff chances. Faf du Plessis's RCB, on the other hand, have 10 points in nine games and a win will take them back in among the top four places in the points table.

As far as head-to-head is concerned, this will be the 30th encounter between the franchises. RCB are leading the battle 18-10 while one game was washed out. RCB won the last encounter against DC by 23 runs at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

DC vs RCB injury update

DC injury update Mitchell Marsh is expected to return after he was declared sick before the last game against Gujarat Titans.

DC key players Axar Patel has been the key performer for the side as he has played good knocks with the bat and has taken six wickets in the last five games. Aman Hakim Khan scored a stunning half-century in the last game while Mitchell Marsh has picked form with the bat as well.

David Warner and Manish Pandey's forms have dipped in the last two games but have been among the consistent batters of the team while Phil Salt scored a half-century recently.

Among bowlers, Ishant Sharma continues to take wickets while being economical with strict line and length. Khaleel Ahmed impressed in the last game as well with a couple of wickets while Kuldeep Yadav took six wickets in his last five outings.

Out of form Sarfaraz Khan and Prithvi Shaw have failed to impress with the bat while Anrich Nortje has struggled to take wickets in the last two games.

RCB yey players Virat Kohli, Faf du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell remain the backbone of RCB's batting order. Maxwell, however, has struggled to score runs on pitches where ball doesn't come on the bat easily. The rest of their batting order, including Dinesh Karthik and Mahipal Lomror, has struggled to maintain consistency.

Among bowlers, Mohammad Siraj is in the race for Purple Cap with 15 wickets while his form with the new ball has often turned decisive. Josh Hazlewood added to his bowling strength with a couple of wickets on his return from injury.

Karn Sharma returned to the line-up in the last game and picked up two wickets. Harshal Patel has been key to death-over bowling but is not picking wickets in a bunch.

Out of form Shahbaz Ahmed has been quiet this IPL and has lost his place in the line-up.

The pitches at the stadium are getting slower with every game, making the decision to bat first a better choice with slow bowlers and pacers with variation making an impact.
