New Delhi, May 5: Delhi Capitals will look to avenge the reverse fixture loss and continue their winning run when they host Royal Challengers Bangalore in match 50 of IPL 2023 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi on Saturday (May 6).
David Warners’s DC will look to carry on the winning momentum following their third victory of the season over Gujarat Titans, while Faf Du Plessis-led RCB will look to make it two wins in a row following recent result against Lucknow Super Giants.

DC occupy the last spot in the IPL 2023 points table and will be desperate for a win to keep their slim hopes alive in the playoff race. RCB, however, will be a confident side heading into the match thanks to the reverse fixture win.
And it's the visitors, who have the advantage in this fixture over the years when the match is played at home or away from as they have been a successful side on their visits to Arun Jaitley Stadium.
In the 29 meetings between the two sides in IPL so far, RCB has won 18 times, while DC has won 10 times with one other match ending in No Result. However, in the last six meetings DC has won four times. But, RCB has come out on top in the recent two meetings.
In the reverse fixture, DC rode Axar Patel’s all-round brilliance to seal a 7-run win. Mayank Agarwal’s fighting 49 and Heinrich Klaasen’s late cameo went in vain for the Sunrisers.
In New Delhi, DC and RCB have clashed 9 times so far, and it's advantage RCB as they have beaten DC in their own backyard 6 times, while the Delhi-based side has won just 3 time against the Bengaluru-based side at home.
