DC vs RCB Toss Update, Playing 11 IPL 2025 Match 46: Royal Challengers Bengaluru captain Rajat Patidar opted to bowl first after winning the toss against Rajasthan Royals at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Kolkata on April 27, 2025 (Sunday).
After winning the toss, RCB captain Patidar, "We will bowl first. The wicket is quite good to bat on and I don't think it's going to change too much and we like to chase. It's our first win at our home and we will try to continue playing good cricket. In every match, we are trying to improve, so we want to keep learning. Bethell has come in place of Salt."

Meanwhile, DC captain Axar Patel said, "That is an advantage too but if we had won the toss, I think we would have batted only and use the wicket in the second innings. In the last game, there was no dew but in the game against Mumbai, there was some dew.
"They had two foreign batters so I wanted to bowl against them. I was bowling with a good rhythm, the plan wasn't to bowl four overs in a row but I kept bowling so I continued with it. Faf is back and the impact player we will decide according to the situation."

At the Arun Jaitley Stadium, the boundaries are compact - 66 meters at one end, 58 meters at the other, and 71 meters straight down the ground. While Delhi is often known for producing high-scoring pitches, today's surface is notably dry with very little live grass.
Experts Graeme Swann and Aaron Finch, analysing the pitch, pointed out that it is expected to aid spinners more than pacers, as seen in the previous game, where there was 4.1 degrees of turn against Mumbai. Fast bowlers might find it tough, making spin a key factor in this crucial DC vs RCB clash.
