Delhi Capitals (DC) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will battle for the title when they clash in the final of Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2024 on Sunday (March 17) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
Meg Lanning’s table-topping Delhi Capitals, who beat RCB twice already this season, are fresh from a 7-wicket win over Gujarat Giants in their last outing, while RCB led by Smriti Mandhana head into the match on the back of a final-berth sealing 5-run win over Mumbai Indians.

RCB will aim for their first win over DC, and they will hope to take revenge from a narrow defeat to the Delhi-based side in their previous encounter, while Lanning & Co will look to put last season's disappointment of having missed out on the title.
Now, let’s take look at the Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Delhi Capitals Head to head record, stats & results in Women's Premier League ahead of DC vs RCB WPL 2024 final:
DC has won in all their four meetings against RCB so far, winning in the first season at the Dr DY Patil Stadium and the Brabourne Stadium, while they won at M Chinnaswamy Stadium and Arun Jaitley Stadium in season 2.
In the first fixture, Lanning (72 off 43) and Shafali (84 off 45) powered DC to 223/2 in the allotted 20 overs before Tara Norris’ 5 for 29 figures helped restrict RCB to 163, sealing a 60-run win.
In the reverse fixture, Perry (67* off 52 balls) took RCB to 150 after Shikha Pandey (3 for 23) spell. However, DC rode on a middle order effort to seal the run-chase with 6 wickets and 2 balls to spare.
In season 2, Shafali (50 off 31), Capsey (46 off 33), Marizanne Kapp (32 off 16) and Jonassen (36* off 16) starred with the bat to take DC to 194/5. In response, skipper Mandhana saw her knock of 74 off 43 go in vain as Jonassen claimed 3 wickets to stop the RCB chase at 169/9.
In the second season reverse fixture, the two sides played out a thriller as DC set a target of 182 riding on Jemimah Rodrigues’ fifty. In response, Richa Ghosh fifty powered RCB close to the total, but a last-ball run out saw the Bangalore-based side lose the match by 1 run.
