Delhi Capitals (DC) will look to do the double and push for a top spot finish when they face Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the seventeenth match of Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2024 on Sunday (March 10) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
Meg Lanning’s table-topping Delhi Capitals, who beat RCB in the reverse fixture last month, suffered a narrow 1-run loss to UP Warriorz in their last outing, while RCB led by Smriti Mandhana head into the match on the back of a 19-run loss to Gujarat Giants.

DC failed to chase down a small total of 138 despite being on top for most part of the match against UPW. Third-placed RCB, who have 6 points from 6 matches, fell short by 19 runs in the run chase of 200 against Gujarat Giants.
While DC lost their most recent match, they are well-placed to qualify for the playoffs, having already bagged 8 points. RCB, however, will need a win to stay alive in the race as other teams also could finish on the same points at the end of the league stage.
RCB will aim for their first win over DC, and they will hope a new venue will bring them some fortune as the two sides clash for the first time in Delhi.
