The Delhi Capitals have officially unveiled their jersey for IPL 2026, marking the beginning of a new season with a campaign that goes beyond just design. With the tournament around the corner, the franchise has leaned into identity, symbolism, and a growing sense of unity across its men's and women's teams.
Inspired by the "tiger spirit": a theme that reflects both the aggression associated with the team and the energy of the city - the new jersey blends Delhi's character with a fearless on-field approach. The design continues the franchise's signature blue and red palette, while attempting to reinforce a sharper, more assertive visual identity ahead of the new campaign.

What stands out, however, is not just the jersey itself, but the way it has been introduced. In a first-of-its-kind move for an IPL franchise, Delhi Capitals brought together both team captains - Axar Patel and Jemimah Rodrigues - as the faces of the launch campaign. The film highlights a shared culture between the IPL and WPL sides, signalling a conscious shift towards a more unified brand identity.
The campaign reflects how the franchise views itself today - not as two separate teams, but as one ecosystem. With the women's side consistently reaching finals in the Women's Premier League and the men's team continuing its push for an IPL title, the synergy between the two has become increasingly central to Delhi Capitals' vision.
Speaking on the launch, CEO Sunil Gupta emphasised that the jersey represents more than just kit for the season. It is, instead, an expression of the team's mindset - one rooted in fearlessness, belonging, and a strong connection to the city. The inclusion of Rodrigues alongside Patel in the campaign further underlines the franchise's commitment to building a cohesive culture across formats.
As IPL 2026 approaches, Delhi Capitals are not just stepping onto the field with a new look, but with a clearer sense of identity, one that blends performance, representation, and ambition.
