It was yet another season in shambles for Delhi Capitals in the IPL 2023. The Dilliwales had a dismal start to the season with 5 straight defeats, and ended up finishing 9th in the league table.
After the conclusion of the IPL season, the Capitals owner Parth Jindal revealed they are planning to revamp their thought process and trying to come up with a new approach for success. He expressed his wish to have a talk with DC's Director of Cricket Sourav Ganguly.

And it seems the first step has been taken on Thursday, as DC sacked two of their assistant coaches.
Delhi Capitals announced the departure of Shane Watson and Ajit Agarkar - who worked as assistant coaches in the IPL 2023.
"You'll always have a place to call home here. Thank You, Ajit and Watto, for your contributions. All the very best for your future endeavours," Capitals tweeted announcing their partition.
Ajit Agarkar is currently favourite to be the next chief selector of BCCI after Chetan Sharma's departure. Watson, on the other hand, will be taking up the coaching role for Major League Cricket outfit San Francisco Unicorns in the inaugural season.
But the DC head coach Ricky Ponting has survived his role. The former Australia captain was also under immense pressure but it seems his job is safe for another sesaon.
