New Delhi, Oct 4 (UNI) The newly formed Dhaka Warriors reached here today seeking to make their debut in the Indian Cricket League (ICL).
Led by their experienced captain, Habibul Bashar, the Warriors will hit the practice nets at the Tau Devi Lal Stadium in Gurgaon.
''It feels great to be back in India to play cricket. We have come to play in this tournament with barely a month's practice.
However, we have played alongside each other for many years now and hence I believe we are a more cohesive unit than many other teams. We want to take the ICL trophy to Dhaka and we will!,'' a confident Bashar said.
Created last month, the Dhaka Warriors were the second team in the ICL apart from Lahore Badshahs to be represented by players from a single country.
The Warriors start their campaign on October 11 in Hyderabad, against inaugural ICL champions Chennai Superstars.
