After splitting up with India cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal, Dhanashree Verma seems to have taken a different path as she shared her latest social media images.

Their marriage, which began in 2020, officially ended in March 2025, following a period of separation starting mid-2022. The divorce was finalized in Mumbai family court, and while there were rumors around alimony demands, Dhanashree's family and legal representatives have refuted claims of excessive financial demands, asking for privacy and responsible reporting.

Posting from Dubai, a city where she spent her "core memories," Dhanashree expressed deep gratitude and spiritual calm in her recent Instagram update.

Her post features serene photos of her walk during the golden hour, tasting local street food, and visiting a peaceful Hindu temple in Dubai. Reflecting on her emotional journey, she wrote:

"Back in Dubai after what feels like a lifetime...🤍 Growing up here gave me so many core memories and seeing how much the city has evolved was both surreal and heartwarming. One of the highlights was visiting this beautiful Hindu temple-peaceful, powerful, and a reminder of how far this city has come in embracing culture and community Grateful for the growth, the roots, and the reconnection."

This post came just days after her ex-husband, Yuzvendra Chahal, publicly spoke about their divorce in a revealing podcast with Raj Shamani. Chahal opened up about the difficulties they faced over several years, their decision to keep their marital issues private, and his emotional struggles, including depression and suicidal thoughts, post-separation. He also referred indirectly to personal matters between them while explaining his choice to wear a "Be Your Own Sugar Daddy" T-shirt during their divorce proceedings, stating:

"Mujhe drama nahi karna tha, I just wanted to give one message-and I did... Kyunki saamne se kuch cheez hua tha... pehle mann nahi tha... Ab sambhaal lo, ab mujhe nahi parwah kisi ki, (I didn't want any drama, and I just wanted to give one message and I did.. Because there were some demands which I was not ready to accept and now I don't even care) " Chahal said at the podcast.

Meanwhile, Dhanashree has not engaged publicly in any direct response to Chahal's interview, choosing instead a path of spiritual healing and quiet dignity amid the intense media scrutiny. There were reports that Dhanashree demanded Rs 60 crore as alimony but her family outrightly rejected those claims.
