Dhanashree Verma faces backlash after 'cozy' picture with Pratik Utekar, fans sympathise with Yuzvendra Chahal

Dhanashree Verma, the wife of Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal, faced massive backlash for his 'too cozy' picture with choreographer Pratik Utekar as per the netizens.

Pratik has both his hands wrapped around Dhanashree while closely standing behind her. Social media users have slammed Chahal's wife for 'choosing to post such an intimate picture' with some other guy.

Dhanashree Verma paid no heed to the trolls and internet shaming, and shared another Instagram Story with Pratik Utekar on Sunday (March 3). The second picture also shows Dhanashree casually posing with Pratik.

Yuzvendra Chahal's choreographer wife Dhanashree Verma was among the five finalists in the dance reality show. Former Big Boss contestant Manisha Rani pipped Dhanashree, Shoaib Ibrahim, Adrija Sinha and Sreerama Chandra to lift the trophy on Saturday, March 2. Chahal was actively appealing to fans to vote for his wife.

This is not the first time Yuzvendra Chahal and his wife Dhanashree Verma have been trolled on social media. Earlier, Dhanashree's name was associated with Chahal's India teammate Shreyas Iyer. Rumours about marital discord between Chahal and Dhanashree also did rounds.

On the cricketing front, Yuzvendra Chahal dealt with a major blow after he was left out of BCCI's central contracts list for the 2023-24 season.

Earlier, he was left out of India's Asia Cup 2023 World Cup 2023 squad. Chances of him featuring in the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024 also looks slim.

The leg-spinner will be soon seen playing for Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the IPL 2024. The 17th edition of the IPL will be extremely crucial for Yuzvendra Chahal, and he would be aiming to make a statement to the BCCI selectors and officials.
