Dhoni slammer sacked
Ranchi, Mar 20 (UNI) The vandalism at cricket star Mahendra Singh Dhoni's under-construction residence at Harmu here has brought political leaders united in decrying the act, forcing the Jharkahnd Mukti Morcha (JMM) to sack a leading youth leader from the party, who was leading the group.
Jailed JMM supremo and former coal minister Sibu Soren was sore over his party activist's action.
Enraged over Dhoni's poor performance in the first match against Bangladesh cricket fanatics (many of them from JMM) last sunday vandalisd his house and damaged its boundary wall.
About 50 youths assembled near the construction site and shouted slogans against the cricketer and burnt his effigies.
Last night, Mr Arun Kumar, district vice-president of the JMM's youth wing was stripped off the post and suspended, youth wing presidnt Vinod Kumar Pandey told UNI here today adding that the party would conduct an internal inquiry into the matter and identify all other erring workers.
