Former India player Dinesh Karthik has snubbed Yashasvi Jaiswal from the probable XI in the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy in 2025.
India, having clinched the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 Rohit Sharma's leadership, now sets its sights on the Champions Trophy, which is scheduled to be played in Pakistan.

"They are going to play another three games before the Champions Trophy. I am confident that it is going to be Rohit and Shubman opening in the tournament," he added.
If Jaiswal is considered as a backup, it may deny India a left-right opening combination. The young batter from Mumbai has proven to be a top-class player and may warrant opportunities ahead of the selection for the Champions Trophy.
