DLF IPL signs on Citi as its official bank

Mumbai, Apr 17 (UNI) The DLF Indian Premier League (IPL) today announced that Citi has been chosen as the official bank for the league.

The multi-million dollar deal will be for a period of five years, a release issued here stated.

IPL Chairman and Commissioner Lalit Modi said, ''It is indeed a pleasure to partner a pre-eminent financial company like Citi. I am certain the Company's association with the DLF IPL as its official bank will prove to be a mutually beneficial partnership.'' Citibank India CEO Sanjay Nayar said they were delighted to partner DLF IPL as its official bank. ''We believe this partnership shares many common ideals, including those of innovation and of delivering our services to a broad customer base,'' he added.
