Patiala, May 31 (UNI) DMW, Patiala defeated Dronacharya Cricket Foundation (DCF), Delhi, by 10-wickets in the 10th Hot Weather Cricket Tournament (Under-13) here today.
Batting first, DCF were bundled out for a paltry 80 runs in just 26 overs. Abhishek (17) and Akshay (16) were the main run getters.
For DMW, Gopal Halen took 3 for 23 and Karan captured 2 wickets, conceding only 10 runs.
In reply, DMW acheive the target in just 14.1 overs without losing any wicket. Anmol Malhotra scored a brilliant unbeaten half century (50) and Danish was 18 not out.
Meanwhile, in the second match played at the Yadavindra Public School here, Mohali Cricket Association (MCA) defeated the local Multipurpose Cricket Academy convincingly.
Multipurpose Cricket Academy scored 124 all out in 24.1 overs.
Amit Singh played a fine innings of 77. For MCA, Gurpreet bagged 4 for 18, while Shivam and Pokhraj took two wickets each, conceding 44 and 29 runs respectively.
MCA scored 125 for 4. Sukhbir Hayer (15), Shiv Sharma (20) and Sahejdeep (22) were the main scorers. Gurpreet Singh bagged 3 for 39.
In the third match, Black Elephant Cricket Club (BECC), Patiala, defeated Sumit Dogra Cricket Academy (SDCA), Delhi, by 93 runs at the Army cricket ground here.
Batting first, BECC were all out for 204 in 39.2 overs.
Anmolpreet Singh scored a breezy 88, supported by Prabhjot Singh (38). Shiv Chauhan took 3 for 26 and M Ahuja took 2 for 33.
SDCA were all out for 111 in 30.1 overs. Ishant Sharma (25), N Singh (20) and Shiv Chauhan (17) were the main run getters. Prabhjot took 3 for 19.
