Purani Dilli 6 will kick off its DPL 2025 campaign against Outer Delhi Warriors at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Tuesday.
After a strong showing in the 2024 edition, where the team reached the semi-finals, Purani Dilli 6 are gearing up for another title push this season. Led by Vansh Bedi, Purani Dilli 6 enters Season 2 with a renewed spirit and a clear aim - to bring the trophy home.

"It is a new experience and proud moment for me. I consider it as a gift from the universe. I've captained teams in club cricket but to lead Purani Dilli 6 in DPL is a little different," said Vansh Bedi.
"Every team's last goal is to lift the trophy and ours is the same as well. Our focus is to play good cricket, and of course, winning is our priority and we are looking forward to it," he added.
Skipper Vansh acknowledged the absence of marquee player Rishabh Pant for Purani Dilli 6, but remained hopeful that Purani Dilli 6 and its fans, would witness the rise of a new star this season.
"It is a setback for Purani Dilli 6 that Rishabh Pant bhai is not with us right now. We are missing him and fans too. I will like to say to fans, that they may find a new star this year," said Vansh.
Reflecting on the significance of the tournament, the young skipper added that the Delhi Premier League has been a game-changer for him personally
"DPL for me is a game-changing thing for me. DPL is a platform that you can perform and prove yourself at a big stage. It is a perfect opportunity that we as a players are waiting for," said Vansh.
