Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy Stadium in Vizag, established in 2003, will host at least two matches during the eighteenth edition of the Indian Premier League – IPL 2025, which is set to start from Saturday (March 22).
Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy Stadium, also known as ACA-VDCA Stadium, has served as home venues to Andhra cricket teams, the Indian cricket team and also IPL sides Deccan Chargers, Mumbai Indians, Rising Pune Supergiant and since 2024 as second home to Delhi Capitals.

The Vizag venue, which has also hosted playoff matches in IPL 2019, will continue tradition from last year and host two home games of Delhi Capitals in the IPL 2025. The Delhi-based side will return to their base at Arun Jaitley Stadium for their remaining home games.
In IPL 2025, DC will host two matches in Vizag against Lucknow Super Giants on March 24 followed by a fixture against Sunrisers Hyderabad on March 30 with their remaining home fixtures set to be played at the Kotla in Delhi.
Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy Stadium will be hosting it’s fifth season of the cash-rich league matches, having hosted a few matches in IPL earlier, the home games of Deccan Chargers in 2012, MI and RPSG in 2016, as a neutral host during the 2019 season, and home games of DC in 2024.
The venue has hosted just 15 IPL matches and 4 T20I matches so far. Here is a look at the Vizag’s Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy Stadium T20 and IPL records ahead of IPL 2025:
