Litton Das on Sunday (January 12) responded to the Champions Trophy snub with a 44-ball century in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) as Dhaka Capitals registered a comprehensive 149-run victory over Durbar Rajshahi in a record-breaking outing.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) selection panel omitted the wicketkeeper-batter from Bangaldesh Champions Trophy 2025 squad due to poor form, but Litton delivered a message to the selectors the same evening when he scored his first BPL century and shared a mammoth stand with fellow centurion Tanzid Hasan.

Litton (125* off 55 balls) and Tanzid (108 off 64 balls) shared the highest stand in BPL history with a partnership of 241 runs for the opening wicket, and also the second-highest in T20 cricket.
The duo's record-breaking stand helped Dhaka Capitals post the highest total in Bangladesh Premier League hisory as the team ended with 254 in their allotted 20 overs. The Capitals bettered the previous best of 239. Here is a look at the highest team score in BPL:
