Duleep Trophy 2024: BCCI announce squads, Shubman Gill and Shreyas Iyer among Captains - Complete List of Squads for All Teams

Duleep Trophy 2024 Squad and Captains: BCCI has announced the squads for the four teams that will take part in the Duleep Trophy 2024. BCCI has named the players who will take part in the first round of the tournament.

A number of top Indian players will be playing the the tournament. Previously a zonal competition, Duleep Trophy will be played among four teams (Team A to D) this year and the team with the most points at the end of the Round Robin league will be announced winners.

Duleep Trophy is set to begin from September 5 in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh and M Chinnaswamy stadium, Bengaluru.

The Captains

Shubman Gill will lead the Team A, while Abhimanyu Easwaran is set to lead Team B. Ruturaj Gaikwad and Shreyas Iyer will lead the Team C and D respectively.

Nitish Kumar Reddy is included in the team but his availability is subject to fitness. India pacer Mohammed Shami was expected to play but hasn't made it to the squad. India captain Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will not play any part, along with Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah.
