Duleep Trophy, India's domestic first-class competition, is known for teams representing different geographical Indian zones since the inaugural edition in 1961-62. However, there were a few instances when foreign teams toured India to compete in the Duleep Trophy.
Interestingly, the first time when foreign cricketers competed in the Duleep Trophy was in the 1962-63 domestic season when three West Indies cricketers were part of three different zonal sides. However, it was in 2005 when a foreign team was invited as a special invitee side.

That said, let's take a look at the list of foreign cricketers who were part of the Duleep Trophy competition in the past.
The Caribbean pacer Roy Gilchrist represented South Zone in the Duleep Trophy 1962-63 season. He racked up five wickets in two matches with the best bowling figures of 3/116. Though South Zone made it to the final, they were crushed by West Zone with an innings defeat.
Chester Donald Watson, the former West Indies pacer, competed with the North Zone team in the 1962-63 season, scalping seven wickets from three innings and scoring 23 runs with the willow. He emerged as the second leading wicket-taker in the season.
The former Caribbean all-rounder Sven Conrad Stayers was part of the West Zone team that was the eventual champion of the Duleep Trophy 1962-63 season. Stayers scalped three wickets from two innings with the best figures of 2/42.
Bangladesh Cricket Board XI was also part of the Duleep Trophy in the 2004-05 season, led by Mohammad Ashraful. Though they played two games in the campaign, they settled for a loss and a draw.
