Having endured the grind and excelled in various roles throughout his career, I am confident that Gautam is the ideal person to steer Indian Cricket forward," Shah wrote on X.

Gambhir's IPL Success

Gambhir has an impressive record as a mentor in the IPL. He guided the Lucknow Super Giants to playoff qualifications in both seasons he mentored them. His crowning achievement came with Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2024 when KKR clinched the title under his mentorship.
