2024 - Afghanistan A's Historic Victory

In 2024, Afghanistan A made history by clinching their maiden title in the Emerging Teams Asia Cup with a seven-wicket win over Sri Lanka A. Led by Darwish Rasooli, Afghanistan's bowling attack, spearheaded by Bilal Sami and Allah Ghazanfar, restricted Sri Lanka to a modest 133/7. Sediqullah Atal's unbeaten 55* anchored the chase, marking a memorable victory for the Afghan team. This edition, held in Oman, featured eight teams and 15 matches.

2023 - Pakistan A Defends Their Title

The 2023 edition, held in Sri Lanka, saw Pakistan A triumph once again, defeating India A in the final. Under Mohammad Haris' leadership, Pakistan secured their second Emerging Teams Asia Cup title. Sri Lankan opener Avishka Fernando finished as the leading run-scorer of the tournament, while India's Nishant Sindhu was the standout all-rounder and Player of the Series.

2019 - Pakistan U23's First Title

In 2019, Pakistan U23 emerged victorious by defeating Bangladesh U23 in the final. The tournament, held in Bangladesh, saw Saud Shakeel leading his side to their first Emerging Teams Asia Cup title. Pakistan's Rohail Nazir was exceptional with the bat, while Sumon Khan from Bangladesh topped the bowling charts.

2018 - Sri Lanka U23's Dominance Continues

Sri Lanka U23 clinched their second title in 2018 by defeating India U23 in a closely contested final. Held in Sri Lanka and Pakistan, this edition saw Kamindu Mendis shine with both bat and ball, earning him the Player of the Series award. His all-round performance of 310 runs and crucial wickets played a key role in Sri Lanka's triumph.

2017 - Sri Lanka U23 Claims Their First Title

The 2017 edition, hosted by Bangladesh, marked Sri Lanka U23's first championship win. The Sri Lankan team, captained by Angelo Perera, defeated Pakistan U23 in the final. Charith Asalanka was the standout performer with 338 runs, guiding his side to a memorable victory. Usama Mir's 13 wickets were vital for Pakistan U23 throughout the tournament.

2013 - India U23 Clinches Inaugural Title

The inaugural edition of the Emerging Teams Asia Cup, held in Singapore in 2013, saw India U23 lifting the trophy under the leadership of Suryakumar Yadav. India U23 defeated Pakistan U23 in the final, with K. L. Rahul being the top run-scorer of the tournament. UAE's Shaiman Anwar impressed with his all-round skills, earning the Player of the Series award.
