England women's injury update, key players vs Ireland women

England have reported no injuries going into the game and are an unstoppable force this World Cup with three matches on the trot. They defeated Ireland, West Indies and India.

Opener Sophia Dunkley has been in strong form but failed in his last innings against India with just 10 runs to her name. Concerns remain over the form of her partner Dani Wyatt, who scored a duck in the last game and was unconvincing in the games before.

The opening duo was undone by Indian pacer Renuka Singh Thakur, who also dismissed in-form Alice Capsey for three after the 18-year-old batter scored a half-century against West India a game ago.

Nat Sciver-Brunt shot a half-century after scoring a 30-ball 40 against Windies. Skipper Heather Knight showed some consistency as well with an innings of 28 after scoring 32 earlier. Amy Jones announced form as well with a 23-ball 40 knock.

Among bowlers, left-arm orthodox Sophie Ecclestone continues to be the star performer with 10 wickets in four games. Leg Spinner Sarah Glenn has been on fire too with 10 wickets in five games, with two against India. Among pacers, Katherine Sciver-Brunt and Lauren Bell have been picking wickets as well but not in a bunch.

EN-W vs PK-W pitch report England vs Pakistan women's

The Newlands Cricket Ground has been getting slower and dry with every match, making spinners' role very important in such games. Experts have suggested that the wicket has turned two-paced as well. Batters will look to score on the square boundaries as it's almost 60 metres at both ends.
