ENG vs IND: Rohit Sharma Goes Past Inzamam Ul-Haq To Become 7th Highest Run Scorer In ODI
New Delhi, July 16: Former Indian captain Rohit Sharma achieved another significant milestone in his illustrious ODI career by moving up to seventh on the all-time list of highest run-scorers in the format. In the process, Rohit went past former Pakistan captain Inzamam-ul-Haq's tally of 11,739 runs.
The former Pakistani batter had amassed 11,739 runs in 378 ODIs, batting in 350 innings at an average of 39.52 during a career that spanned over 15 years.

Rohit, however, overtook that record in considerably fewer matches, reaching the landmark with 11,757 runs from just 279 innings in 287 ODIs. The Indian opener has maintained an outstanding batting average of 48, highlighting both his consistency and match-winning ability in the 50-over format.
The milestone adds another chapter to Rohit's remarkable ODI journey, which includes multiple double centuries, a World Cup record of five centuries in a single edition, and numerous memorable match-winning knocks.
