England will be taking on New Zealand in the second match of the 4-match ODI series on Sunday, September 10. The match will be played at The Rose Bowl in Southampton. New Zealand are leading the series 1-0 after winning the first ODI by eight wickets.
England posted 291/6 in 50 overs after being asked to bat first. Dawid Malan (54), Ben Stokes (52), Jos Buttler (72) and Liam Livingstone (52) scored a fifty each for England. The match was Stokes' first after coming out of his ODI retirement for the upcoming World Cup 2023.

Tim Southee picked two wickets, while left-arm spinner Rachin Ravindra grabbed three wickets for 48 runs in 10 wickets for New Zealand.
In reply, Devon Conway (111 off 121 balls) and Daryl Mitchell (118 off 91) hit unbeaten hundreds as the visitors chased down the target with eight wickets and 26 balls to spare.
The preceding four-match series between the two sides ended in a 2-2 draw. However, keeping in view the upcoming World Cup 2023 in India, the ODI series is expected to witness a more intense battle between the two teams.
Jason Roy and Jonny Bairstow missed the first game due to their respective minor injuries as Dawid Malan and Harry Brook, who was inducted in the squad earlier this week, replaced them in the eleven. The two players are expected to be play in the second ODI.
Kane Willaimson has travelled to England bit isn't part of the New Zealand squad. He is very likely to make a comeback in the World Cup 2023.
