ENG vs NZ Dream11 Prediction, World Cup 2023: Defending champions England will take on last edition's runners-up New Zealand in Match 1 of the World Cup 2023 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Thursday, October 5.

The two teams locked horns against each other in a four-match bilateral ODI series in September. New Zealand won the first ODI but England went on to win the next three games to win the series 3-1.

After arriving in India, New Zealand won their warm-up games against Pakistan and South Africa. On the other hand, England's warm-up game against India was washed out and they defeated Bangladesh by four wickets (DLS Method) in the second one.
