ENG vs WI: England on Thursday (July 25) announced their playing eleven for the third Test against West Indies which will be held at Edgbaston in Birmingham from Friday, July 26. England have won the first two matches and have taken an unassailable 2-0 lead.
A win in the third Test will ensure a series whitewash for England over West Indies. England won the first Test in Lord's London by an innings and 114 runs. The hosts defeated West Indies by 241 runs in the second Test match in Trent Bridge, Nottingham.

While England made just one change to their playing eleven in the second Test by bringing in Mark Wood for retired James Anderson, the Three Lions have left their playing eleven unchanged for the final Test.
Talking about the second Test, Ollie Pope (121, first innings), Joe Root (122, second innings) and Harry Brook (109, second innings) all hit hundreds in that contest as England sealed their first series win since they triumph in Pakistan in 2022-23.
Joe Root registered multiple records in the match. The former England captain went past Steve Waugh with his 32nd Test hundred. He is now tied with Steve Smith and Kane Williamson at eighth spot in the list of batters with most Test hundreds. The trio have the most Test hundred to his name among active cricketers.
Root is now also the eighth highest all-time run-scorer in the history of Test cricket. Shoaib Bashir, meanwhile, will look to build on a brilliant outing in Nottingham, where he managed a five-for including a spell of 3/8 within 15 second-innings deliveries.
England team to face West Indies: Zak Crawley, Ben Duckett, Ollie Pope, Joe Root, Harry Brook, Ben Stokes, Jamie Smith, Chris Woakes, Gus Atkinson, Mark Wood, Shoaib Bashir.
