Reigning champions England will begin their title defence against New Zealand in a rematch from last edition's final in the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 opener at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on October 5.
The 2019 World champions will then travel to Dharamsala, where they will face Bangladesh at the picturesque Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) Stadium on October 10 before they face Aghanistan on October 15 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.

Jos Buttler led side will then face South Africa at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on October 21 followed by a trip to Bengaluru, where they will take on one of the qualifiers at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on October 26.
In a clash of champions, England will take on hosts India at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow on October 29 before they face their Ashes rivals and record champions Australia in Ahmedabad on November 4 followed by the clash against another qualifier on November 8 in Pune at the MCA Stadium.
England will then conclude their round robin matches in a clash of champions when they take on 1992 champions Pakistan at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. If they qualify for the semifinals, the matches will be played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai and Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
The final of the 2023 ODI World Cup is set to be held at the world's largest cricket stadium - Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The top four from the ten teams after the round robin stage will advance to the knockouts.
England will play their round robin fixtures across eight venues. England will play a game each in Kolkata, Mumbai, Lucknow, Pune, Dharamsala, Bengaluru and Delhi, while they will play twice in Ahmedabad.
