England Tour Of Australia: Harry Brook to Lead Both Squads, Jofra Archer Returns as Two Uncapped Players Earn T20I Call-Ups
New Delhi, October 13: England have announced their ODI and T20I squads for the upcoming white-ball tour of Australia, with Harry Brook named captain of both teams. The tour will feature three One-Day Internationals and five T20 Internationals across eight cities, beginning with the ODI series before moving to the shortest format in November.
The Australia tour will be an important opportunity for England to assess their preparations ahead of next year's ODI World Cup. The selectors have recalled fast bowler Jofra Archer and all-rounder Jacob Bethell to the ODI squad, while introducing two new faces to the T20I setup.

Archer returns after a period of rest, while Bethell has recovered from the knee injury that kept him out of action since the ODI series against India in July. Their availability will strengthen England's options as they build towards the global tournament.
However, wicketkeeper-batter Jos Buttler has been left out of both squads following hamstring surgery. Fast bowler Saqib Mahmood is also unavailable because of a knee injury, with Luke Wood earning a place in the T20I squad as his replacement.
National selector Marcus North expressed confidence in England's preparations, saying the returns of Archer and Bethell leave the side close to full strength ahead of the ODI World Cup in a year.
England Name Two Uncapped Players in T20I Squad
England have opted for a younger look in their T20I squad, handing maiden call-ups to 18-year-old wicketkeeper-batter Thomas Rew and 21-year-old seamer Eddie Jack.
Rew, who captained England at the Under-19 World Cup in February, could become only the third 18-year-old to represent England in men's international cricket if selected during the first three T20Is. Jack, meanwhile, brings domestic experience and previously toured Australia with the England Lions.
Phil Salt also returns to the T20I setup after recovering from a quad injury. The squad includes James Coles and Aneurin Donald, alongside established names such as Brook, Tom Banton, Bethell and Will Jacks.
North said England would have four uncapped players in an exciting T20I squad, highlighting the selectors' intention to develop new options alongside experienced international players.
