ESPN Star Sports to show India-Scotland ODI match

New Delhi, July 26 (UNI) ESPN Star Sports today announced the acquisition of the broadcast rights for the India-Scotland one-day international to be played in Glasgow on August 16.

Announcing the achievement, Managing Director, ESPN Software India Pvt Ltd, R C Venkateish said, ''We are absolutely delighted to bring the India-Scotland ODI to millions of cricket followers in the country.'' ''We have almost uninterrupted international cricket lined up over the next 15 months.'' Cricket Scotland CEO, Roddy Smith also seemed delighted to tie-up with Asia's leading sports boadcaster for the ODI and said the viewers will be enthralled by a competitive game as there is a huge passion for the game in Scotland.

Apart from the on-going India's England tour, ESPN-Star Sports has also bagged the telecast rights for the upcoming Twenty20 World Cup in South Africa, India's tour of Australia, the Asia Cup and ICC Champions Trophy in Pakistan.
