Pakistan's former leg-spinner Mushtaq Ahmed has leveled serious allegations against ex-captains Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis, accusing them of harassment and career sabotage.
The shocking claims surfaced on a popular Pakistan television show, (Sports Central), Dressing Room, where Mushtaq's recorded message was played, leaving Akram and Younis visibly stunned.

Mushtaq, in his video message, announced that he was pursuing legal action against both cricketers. He revealed that defamation notices had been sent, demanding PKR 200 million from Waqar Younis and PKR 150 million from Wasim Akram. Declaring his intent to seek justice, he stated, "Now, we will meet in court."
Before airing Mushtaq's video, show host Fakhre Alam cautioned Wasim and Waqar that they might be in trouble. The two former cricketers, unaware of what was coming, reacted with surprise when Mushtaq's accusations played out on air.
In his statement, Mushtaq alleged that both Akram and Younis had mocked him on the show and undermined his role as a coach. Expressing his discontent, he said, "My lawyer will soon be sending legal notices to both of them." He further issued a personal remark directed at Waqar, stating in Punjabi, "Tell Waqar Younis that fights are not won with height. Don't judge me by my height; I know how to fight."
The former leg-spinner went on to claim that Wasim Akram had deliberately harmed his confidence early in his career. He recalled, "Wasim used to take me for practice and bowl bouncers at me, which shattered my confidence. I lost all belief in myself because of it. Otherwise, I could have been one of Pakistan's greatest all-rounders."
The accusations sparked immediate reactions from both accused players. Wasim Akram, maintaining a sarcastic tone, dismissed Mushtaq's allegations by quipping, "You were never meant to be a night watchman. Every time you were sent in, you ended up with a duck. So, I'll see you in court."
Waqar Younis, on the other hand, took a different approach. He immediately issued an apology, stating, "I don't have PKR 200 million, so I sincerely apologise to my brother." He then urged Mushtaq to forgive them, adding, "I hope you clear your heart and forgive us. If not, we have other ways to deal with you!" His closing remarks drew laughter from the studio audience.
Meanwhile, the incident has triggered debate on social media, with some questioning the authenticity of Mushtaq's claims and others speculating whether this is merely a publicity stunt.
