India T20 captain Suryakumar Yadav has addressed the allegations of him aggregating a pool of players to join the Goa Cricket Association ahead of next season.
The Wednesday cricket bonanza started with a report from The Indian Express, which said Yashasvi Jaiswal is set to leave Mumbai and join Goa from next season.

Later, a report from Times of India claimed that the mass movement towards Goa is being facilitated by none other than Suryakumar Yadav. It claimed that Surya is at the forefront and is taking the lead role in the pan-India exodus and convergence to Goa, who recently got promoted to Ranji Trophy Elite League.
MyKhel had a talk with Yashasvi Jaiswal's close circles, who confirmed that the southpaw indeed is leaving Mumbai as he will receive a significant career boost Goa, who are ready to offer him a leadership role.
"He has put his papers and wants to evolve as a captain for future," the source told MyKhel.
Later, another report quoted Yashasvi saying that the captaincy boost is the reason why he is switching domestic allegiance. The player also thanked Mumbai Cricket Association for their support in his emergence.
The Indian cricketer took to social media on Wednesday night and completely shrugged down the reports. Surya completely denied his role in it and ridiculed the report.
"Script writer hai ya journalist? Agar hasna hai toh I will stop watching comedy movies and start reading these articles. Ekdum bakwas (This is a Script Writer or a Journalist? I will stop watching comedy movies and start reading these articles if this is the case. Absolutely baseless)," Surya wrote on X, citing the report.
MyKhel contacted with Mumbai Cricket Association, but they denied any comments. But sources told MyKhel that Suryakumar can't be the one who is behind it.
"Surya can't be behind it. Did he leave Mumbai despite not getting chance in the Indian team for so many years? It looks unlikely. He [Yashasvi Jaiswal] may have got an opportunity from Goa and may join them, but Surya has no role," a source said to MyKhel on condition of anonymity.
In the past, Jasprit Bumrah denied some reports, but that turned out to be true. At the moment, if we are to go with the player's stance, the report may look on the wrong side, but funny things happen in Indian cricket. Hence, we shall get a clearer picture in the coming days.
