Rohit Sharma was once again hailed by the fans and called a true leader after he met Musheer Khan, who recently met with a near-fatal car accident on the Purvanchal Expressway.
Musheer Khan is the younger brother of India Test player Sarfaraz Khan and he was travelling to Lucknow from Azamgarh when he met with an accident and suffered a fracture in his neck. The talented Mumbai batter was on his way to play the Irani Cup match against Rest of India at the Ekana Stadium.

His brother Sarfaraz Khan smashed a double hundred in the match as Mumbai lifted the Irani Cup after 27 years. After hitting the double ton, Sarfaraz had said that 'one hundred was for him, and the other for his brother'.
Sarfaraz Khan was part of the Rohit Sharma-led Indian Test squad, but was released on time to take part in the Irani Cup match for Mumbai.
In a heart-warming gesture, Rohit Sharma met Musheer, who was accompanied by his father Naushad Khan and Sarfaraz. Praising Rohit Sharma, one of the fans wrote, "Captain Rohit Sharma went to meet Sarfaraz Khan's brother Musheer Khan whose neck got fractured due to an accident. This is more valuable than gifting useless bats. Captain Rohit Sharma is truly the leader."
Musheer Khan also shared a picture in which he could be seen with his brother and father with the glittering Irani Cup. Both the brothers could be seen wearing jerseys with Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) logo on it.
Meanwhile, Sarfaraz Khan has arrived at the NCA in Bengaluru to kick off his preparations for the upcoming three-match Test series against New Zealand, Rohit Sharma has also kicked off his preparation with sessions in Mumbai.
