Will Jacks smashed the fifth fastest century in Indian Premier League (IPL) history as Royal Challengers Bengaluru defeated Gujarat Titans in IPL 2024 match 45 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday (April 28).
Jacks, who has big reputation in T20 cricket, scored his maiden IPL century off 41 balls as RCB made light work of the 200 plus run chase to register their third win of the ongoing season.

The England batter walked out to bat at number three in the fourth over of the chase and forged an incredible unbeaten 166-run stand with Virat Kohli (70* off 44 balls) to reach the target in just 16 overs.
His 41-ball 100 included 10 sixes and 5 fours, but Jacks' ton was not the fastest in the history of IPL or even the quickest in the ongoing season. Sunrisers Hyderabad's Travis Head holds the record for fastest century in 2024, while RCB legend Chris Gayle owns the all-time record. Here is a look at the quickest hundreds in IPL:
While this was Jacks' first IPL century, the England batter has scored four centuries in the shortest format. This was also the 25-year-old's second hundred in 41 balls. His previous quickest century came in the SA20 league earlier this year.
