Fastest Fifty in IPL 2024: Sunrisers Hyderabad batter Abhishek Sharma smashed the fastest fifty of IPL 2024 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Wednesday, March 27.
The uncapped Indian star hit a fifty off just 16 balls against five-time champions Mumbai Indians who opted to bowl first. The southpaw smashed two fours and six sixes to score the fastest fifty for SRH.
Earlier in the same match, Travis head owned both the records by hitting a 18-ball fifty with the help of nine fours and two sixes. SRH completed their hundred runs in just seven overs after the onslaught from the duo.
Andre Russell and Heinrich Klaasen set the stage on fire in match number three of the IPL 2024 at the Eden Gardens on Saturday, March 23.
Andre Russell propelled KKR from 119/6 in 13.5 overs to 208/7 at the end of 20 overs by scoring 64 unbeaten runs off 25 balls. The innings consisted of three fours and seven sixes. His 20-ball fifty is the fastest fifty in IPL 2024. Heinrich Klaasen is at third in the list.

Shivam Dube has continued his good form with the Chennai Super Kings (CSK). After scoring unbeaten 34 runs off 28 balls in the first match, he scored a 22-ball fifty against GT on Tuesday (March 26) at Chepauk. It's the second-fastest fifty of the season.
Kolkata Opener Phil Salt also looked in top form. Salt, who replaced Jason Roy, smashed three fours and as many sixes to score 54 runs off 40 balls against SRH. His fifty came off 38 balls.
Later in the same match, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) wicketkeeper-batter Heinrich Klaasen set the stage on fire with a 25-ball fifty. His 29-ball innings for 63 runs consisted of as many as eight sixes. Unfortunately, Hyderabad fell four runs short while chasing 209.
When it comes to the overall list, Rajasthan Royals (RR) opener Yashasvi Jaiswal leads the chart with a 13-ball fifty against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in IPL 2023. KL Rahul is at second. Playing for Punjab Kings (PBKS) in IPL 2018, the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) captain took just 14 deliveries to score a fifty against Delhi Capitals.
