Fastest Fifty in WPL: UP Warriorz all-rounder Chinelle Henry smashed the joint quickest half-century in Women's Premier League history during the WPL 2025 clash against Delhi Capitans on Saturday (February 22) in Bengaluru.
West Indies' star, who came in as a replacement signing for UPW ahead of the season, equalled former Gujarat Giants opener Sophia Dunkley's record from 2023 with an 18-ball fifty at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

Dunkley had achieved the feat in the inaugural season by taking Royal Challengers Bengaluru bowlers to the cleaners and finished with a score 65 from 28 balls. Henry matched that feat en route to her 23-ball 62 in UPW's 33-run win over DC.
Earlier this season, Royal Challengers Bengaluru's wicketkeeper-batter Richa Ghosh also entered the top five for the fastest fifties in WPL history during the season-opening record-breaking chase against the Gujarat Giants.
Ghosh took one ball more than Mumbai Indians skipper Harmanpreet Kaur to reach the landmark. Also featuring in the top five are DC's Shafali Verma, who had notched up a fifty in just 19 balls, and RCB star Sophie Devine, who reached the feat in 20 balls in season 1. Here is a look at the fastest fifties in WPL history:
Apart from going level on the top of the fastest fifty list, Chinelle Henry also equalled the record for most sixes in a singles innings of a Women's Premier League match. With eight maximums against DC, Henry is now level with Devine and Ashleigh Gardner for the record.
Devine had set the record in the inaugural edition en-route to her 36-ball 99 against Gujarat Giants, while Ash Gardner achieved the feat earlier this season against RCB at the Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara.
