Lahore, July 8 (ANI): After being locked in a 'cold war' for a long period, Pakistan Sports Minister Aijaz Jakhrani and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Ijaz Butt seems to have become 'close buddies', as they would travelling together to England on board's expense to watch the two match Test series against Australia.
Butt and Jakhrani are scheduled to leave for London on July 10 to watch the first Test at Lord's starting July 13.
Earlier, the minister had also made a trip to the West Indies, courtesy the PCB, to watch the ICC World Twenty20 matches there, The Daily Times reports.
It is worth mentioning here that both Butt and Jakhrani were engaged in a bitter battle over the issue of new PCB constitution with the later trying to get hold of board's administration.
However, Jakhrani's attempt was thwarted back by Butt, as he took the matter to President Asif Ali Zardari, board's patron.
Interestingly, while both Butt and Jakhrani have developed cordial relations, the bone of contention between the two -PCB's new constitution - is yet to be resolved. (ANI)
