Punjab batter Anmolpreet Singh has etched his name in the record books by scoring the fastest century by an Indian in List A cricket.
Anmolpreet showcased his immense potential by smashing a 35-ball century against Arunachal Pradesh in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. This blistering knock, played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, is the third-fastest List A century in the world.

Batting at number 3, Anmolpreet delivered a sensational innings of 115 not out off just 45 balls. His destructive knock included 12 fours and 9 towering sixes, boasting a strike rate of 255.5. Punjab, playing their first tournament match, dismissed Arunachal Pradesh for 164 runs in the first innings.
Anmolpreet took centre stage and dismantled the opposition bowlers. His extraordinary performance ensured that Punjab chased down the target in just 12.5 overs, securing a dominant victory to start their Vijay Hazare Trophy campaign.
Jake Fraser-McGurk scored the fastest century in List A format when the Australian scored a hundred in just 29 deliveries while playing for South Australia against Tasmania. AB de Villiers scored the fastest international century in ODIs when he managed his hundred in just 31 deliveries against West Indies. Now Anmolpreet has taken the third spot on the list.
Anmolpreet Singh, who has played for Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad, was left unsold in the IPL 2025 mega auction. The 26-year-old has played 9 matches in IPL and has scored 139 runs at a strike rate of 121. But there was no taker for the dynamic batter in the auction last month.
